Kate Freeland FCA - Principle partner

I trained within local and London based practices and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002.
I gained over 8 years of experience as a practicing Chartered Accountant, during which time I gained substantial experience of advising small and medium sized owner managed businesses, over a variety of business sectors on a wide range of financial and strategic issues.

I subsequently moved into industry to gain specialised sector experience within the motor vehicle and property sectors, whereby I have overseen the finance departments within a number of businesses.
During this time, I have resolved a number of strategic and commercial decisions which include;

• Structuring and delivering on a group management buy out for a privately owned group
• Acting as group finance director for a large London based contractor and developer
• Leading the implementation of a new group ERP package to promote synergies across business units
• Implementing improved liquidity management and cash forecasting systems
• Obtaining refinancing and corporate restructuring
• Consolidating operations resulting in cost efficiencies and better management of working capital
• Instigating new company procedures and management reporting systems

This led to my founding of Complete Finances in 2014.

I also devote a lot of my personal time to a local Scout Group and have experience of advising on charitable issues.
